total Deborah Madison star crunch.

We were joined this evening by A + T.

APP: white bean, sage, and roasted garlic spread, hard, flakey + smokey local sheep chz. wedging, soft and easy ‘brie’, and lightly breaded, sauteed sardines on wheaty French loaf. Bubbles.

Salad: asparagus on arugula with walnut vinaigrette

Din-din: chard + onion trouchia w/ almost added but finally left out sausage. More Ellie Kemper-esque bubbles, pinot blanchet + fizzy water.

Dessert: herbed/rosemary olive oil cake

Out of our yard and into our bellies: cuban oregano, straight-up oregano, cilantro, sage, frill-some parsley, basil, chard, big-leaf romaindered lettuce, rosemary, arugula.

Next up: G+N

tweaks: added rosemary bits, zested one lemon, but added lemoncello and lemon juice x1, parchment + spring form = easy

What a great site!! I copied A’s Lemon Olive Oil Cake recipe from her email. I’ll try it soon.
Your pics are tasty looking and I really like the idea of your site.
My Southern Living luncheon club discussed that we really needed to take photos of our dishes and add comments about prep, taste and so on. We had especially wonderful dishes from the June issue yesterday. I get to host the July luncheon and choose the menu. I may need some help with overall choices and decor. I think I’d like it to be light and casual, but delicious. It has to come from Souther Living magazine exclusively. LUV U, KM
